Transport Strategy- draft released

At last weeks council meeting a draft of the first Glen Eira transport strategy was endorsed for public consultation. This is an important step forward in addressing many of the transport and related congestion problems in Glen Eira. It addresses improvements in all modes of transport including walking and cycling. Of particular merit is the action plan around schools and shopping centres in providing for safer amenity for pedestrians of all ages.
